  • The Community Specialist is responsible for participant recruitment, pre-screening, coordination of community services linkages, and discharge planning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Human Services and 1 year’s experience or High School Diploma and 4 years experience.
  • Fulfill credentialing requirements per agency policy.
  • Must have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Compassion and the ability to assist participants to succeed in the program are a plus.
  • Administrative self-sufficiency including computer proficiency.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record and meet insurability standards to drive as an agent of the organization.
